ROHS Declaration of Conformity
CHAMPERE Electronics hereby declares that, to the best of our knowledge, our products are compliant to ROHS 2.0 which restricts use of the chemicals in following background:
On January 27th, 2003, The EU Parliament and The EU Council approved Directive 2002/95/EC, which is “The Restriction of The use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment”, or RoHS Directive. The RoHS Directive became official law in the EU since February 13th, 2003. Before August 13th, 2004, the EU member states converted it to their national laws/regulations. On February 13th, 2005, the UE Commission reviewed the scope of the Directive and drew up items to add to the RSL, taking into account the development of new technologies. After July 1st, 2006, products with excessive levels of 6 types of substances were officially banned in the European Union. RoHS 2.0 is an upgraded version of the old RoHS. The new Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS2.0) replaced the Directive 2002/95/EC, which came into effect on July 21st, 2011. On June 4th, 2015, the Official Journal(OJ) of the European Union issued the RoHS2.0 Revision Directive (EU)2015/863, which formally included DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP in the list of restricted substances in Appendix II, so there are ten mandatory controlled substances in Appendix II.
Our affiliate companies, the manufacturing locations have declared that these substances are not used in the manufacturing of these products.
We will continue to survey our supplier base inquiring about the existence of these chemicals, receiving Declarations of Conformity from our main suppliers. Should we discover that any of these substances exist within our supply chain, CHAMPERE Electronics will notify the affected parties.
